DAN HANKS, M.ED, ED.S, LPC
I grew up all around the Northwest. I've lived in Alaska, Montana, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I like to describe myself as “A paradoxical combination of nerd, philosopher, and distance athlete.” I have competed in Ironman Triathlon, and adventure sports including skijor and other dog-powered sports. I enjoy sailing, basketball, and snowboarding.
I am the founder of Northwest College Support, an innovative comprehensive college support option for young adult individuals needing combinations of therapeutic growth, academic support and transitional skill development.
I am also a school psychologist creating advanced academic intervention plans. I'm passionate about people meeting their highest potential. I also work as an individual psychotherapist. I specialize in working with individuals with learning disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, individuals with ADHD, and persons struggling with addictions.
I graduated from the University of Idaho and hold a Masters of Education in Counseling and School Psychology.
